Annual ReportNLA Media Access 2016
2016 marked the 20th anniversary of NLA media access, and to celebrate, the licensing agency commissioned a very special annual report. Themed around the concept of “20/20”, it reviewed the past twenty years, and how the media landscape has changed for publishers, while also looking forward to the next twenty years.
I designed a 20/20 logo which transformed the NLA’s normal logo into a colourful fan of turning pages, suggesting the passage of time. The brochure itself featured three tabs, one for the year 1996 when the agency was formed, one for 2016 and one for 2036. Each tab featured a mockup of how people consume news in that time period, which called for mockups of some science-fiction concepts, like holographic panels. I art directed.a special photoshoot to create these visuals, that were used throughout the report to deliver charts and key statistics.
